- Fri Apr 30, 2010 5:07 pm #191148 the last set i had, i sanded them with 320grit and then polished them, i took my time, but they werent scratched at all, the clear just looked shitty... if you finish them with a finer grit like 400 or 600 you will get a better end result, i sanded them, then used a rubbing compound, and then finished them with a polish, they honestly looked really good....

other option would be to strip them sand them any maybe get them powdercoated....
