Winter/ snow

Finding myself getting stuck in the tiniest bit of snow recently!! What tyres etc do you guys run? Definetaly need to be more prepared next year!!

Just some generic winters I got used.

Tires for snow use should be tall and skinny, so get rid of those 205s mister. :D

Theyre only 195's!!! Although the fact theyre road legal trackday tyres aint helping me at all!

Glad I'm not alone, found my r888 awesome in the dry and really good in the wet better than I could ever have expected.

But yeh last time I was through the burg and the roads weren't that bad, I was stopped at a set of lights with a tiny bit of slush. Took me almost a minute to get away from the lights. A guy in a Cherokee behind me was going nuts lol.

So anyway my solution has been to either nick my mums range rover or her 106, have not driven the civic in about 2 weeks. I know it doesn't help you but that was my solution.

165s would be better. :D

How wide are your wheels?

Not sure, theyre oem wheels though so 6.5" at a guess!! I might see if i can get some skinny tyres for the front at least, meant to be snow till the end of January at least!
