#163153 Hey all

Ive just recently bought a harvard blue 1992 150 carburetter EG sedan and the previous owner has put some revoulting rims on it, so i want to change them, im running stock suspension and dont want to modify anything on the car like rolling or lowering, so what rims and off set and tyre size can i put on thatll look good and wont rub? my dads thinks i should go the 17" route

#163154 Nothing bigger than 16". (IMO you should run coilovers that way you can lower it just a bit {link an inch} and still have a good ride height and smooth ride with clearance.)

#163155 16" tyres are toooooo expensive here in South Africa, 17" are cheaper, wierd i know, well itll probably be the 15", should i use a 40mm lowering spring kit? i dont have enough cash to buy a set of coilovers

#163158 lowered with 15" will look good :thumb:

40mm is a good amount to lower (that's about an inch and a half for U.S. readers)

That amount will still give good ground clearance and you shouldn't need a camber kit. But do get the toe alignment checked after. :thumb:

#165312 Sorry to bump this up but: i have decided to go with a 40mm drop and 15: wheels on my eg sedan, what should be the following: tire width and profile, wheel width and offset? p.s. there are quite alot of speed bumps and holes around here

I dont think that will happen. I have the GSR/sir-g teg brakes and cant get a 13 over them.
