my buddy and i picked up a beautiful set of ls meshes for his 94 integra, another friend of ours bought them on his cx hatch(should be joining the site) any ways, there is a light coat of bronze paint on the out side of the wheel. what would be the best way to remove the paint so we can return them to the aluminum finish.

try clay baring it off. that should take it off. if not mabey try a light solvent ( paint thinner ect) or if all else fails. wet sand it with some higher grit sandpaper

lacquer should do it
