#107754 Well a friend of mine bought a used rear disc swap and his father was looking at the backing plate and stuff like that and was wondering if you couldnt just switch that out instead of switching out the whole trailing arm. there are 3 star bolts in the back along with a large nut and same goes for the rear drum would this work ?? I need to know asap since if not hes gonna be paying money for alot of stuff......

#107767 Sure can! That what I did. Just make sure you take everything but the trailing arm. You need the spindle? braket etc. Those bolts will be hard as hell to get out btw. I used a 3ft breaker bar, PB blast and 1/2 craftsman tools :thumb:

It's easier to take the time and pull the arm off though. Don't try and assemble the brakes on the car. It will be a pain :x
