- Tue Dec 02, 2008 11:15 am #81470 I'm finishing up picking all my bits up today for my EG6 brake conversion and wanted to know if there were any pads you guys would reccomend?

I don't know if you have Black Diamond pads in the states but I was looking at their fast road ones as they seem to be pretty decent for the money (£85 inc postage so far)

I was going to get greenstuffs but a couple of people I know who have them on say they aren't that good.

Any others?

- Tue Dec 02, 2008 4:41 pm #81507 Best brakes ive EVER driven with have been AP Dixcel type z pads and slotted discs, they were AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

Expensive but they were really good, next time i need discs and pads ill be getting them for sure!

- Tue Dec 02, 2008 5:03 pm #81512 Bit out of my price range mate hehe I'm just replacing the standard discs with OEM replacements from EBC, won't get the use to warrant slotted rotors or otherwise.

Think I might shoot for those Predator pads...

I'll bear the dixcel stuff in mind for later on though if I somehow manage to chew through what I've got here in record time ;)
