#62617 ok i just purchased a car..a 94 civic hatch. When press the brake down to stop, there is this clicking noise like someone is sticking cardboard in my spokes. If i slam the brake down, it doesnt make that noise. i just want to have some idea of what it could be that way a shop doesnt try to jip me. thanks for your help!

#62715 Well this could be many things could be something is loose or your pads are moving inside the caliper. what would help is the model of your civic (cx,vx,dx,si etc...) and if you have a rear disc conversion....

Also where is the sound coming from the front or the rear? try to give us a litle bit more info....

Not to be a jerk but why not check it out yourself and that way you might find out its an easy fix and save a crap load of money instead of going to the shop

#62730 its a cx and it deosnt have a rear disc conversion...the noise is coming from the front...i will look them this weekend...
