#353898 Greetings Civic-EG members, Today I would like to share something with you.

So I wanted to upgrade my brake master cylinder for a long time but didn't want to go through the work replacing my brake booster in order to install a 1" Integra MC. Plus I didn't like the look of the bigger BB.

After doing some research I came across a post on honda-tech.com:

So basically if you want a bigger MC you can swap out your old one for a 1991 Honda Civic EX 4-door 15/16ths master cylinder.

Part number: 46100-SH4-A11

I can confirm that this upgrade actually works and its super easy and requires absolutely no mods to your hard lines, straight bolt on. I did this this weekend and it worked like a charm :thumb:

So if you want a easy MC upgrade buy a EX MC and swap it in.

Though I should share this.

Cheers.

Also I don't know how to add pictures to this thing but if I figure it out I will post them.....

#358235 I have at the moment an EG d15b2 dpfi and my master cylinder is probably internaly leaking.

Will the Part number: 46100-SH4-A11 be plug and play in my car?

My brakes are stock but in the future probably upgrade it, is there any problem aplying the Part number: 46100-SH4-A11 on stock brake calipers? Also I have stock drums at the rear axle.
