i was taking lunch to my sisters boyfriend and on the trip back i noticed a knocking noise from one side of the car i figured out it only happens while i brake sounds like its coming from the back i took a quick look under the car but nothing seems out of the ordinary besides a nail in my tire

i have a 95 civic lx i have BWR lcas maybe the bushings went? but there still very new

edit: after going to the super market the noise is gone

Nail will get louder as you slow down.

thanks it seemed way to hard of a knock to be a nail to me i could hear it with the music up but it's completely gone now nail is still in my tire too.

Nail would sink further into the tire. But do you have rear disk or drum?

i have drums

could of broken a spring that holds one of the shoes. Pull the drum and check it out.

noise is back only when breaking your right apex the drums springs messed up thanks!
