- Tue Dec 18, 2012 11:04 pm #322452 hey guys, last Sunday i bought a `94 del sol for my girlfriend and the abs stays on, Of course it doesen`t work(on breaks, but the abs pump you can hear a functionality sound or something like a buzz) . Is there a way to verify what is actually the problem like the check engine codes?
Also the check engine stays on, it`s a d16z6 engine and i could use some error codes for this if u have it

- Wed Dec 19, 2012 4:30 am #322467 Well once the light is on they will not work, now you might hear the abs pump kick on but it might be low on fluid or there is something wrong with the unit. if the check engine light is on then you should have a code but I doubt it. You also might check the wheels and make sure the sensors on the hubs are there and not missing or cut to see if that be the issue.
