- Wed Apr 25, 2012 5:33 pm #302830 Last night my brake booster gave out while I was driving. I have to basically stand on the brake pedal to make the car stop and every time I touch the pedal, there is a loud hissing noise. Sounds like a vacuum leak. Since I can't afford a new booster, tomorrow I'm gonna make a trip to my local Pull-A-Part and see if I can find a replacement. I know I can use a booster from a 92-95 civic or DC integra.

My question is, how can I tell the difference between an ABS booster and a non-ABS booster and does it matter?

- Wed Apr 25, 2012 6:20 pm #302845 the why the master cylinder sits is different. usually almost any integra you'll find is going to be abs unless you get lucky and find a RS.
