Been driving this 92 Civic for 12 years and intend to have the wheel bearings x04 replaced.

What is the improvement if I have them replaced.
Is there shell life for these bearing?

If they are not making noise or there is no play in the wheel hub, then no need to replace them. The only reason to replace them is if they are worn out, displaying any of those symptoms.
