I did a brake job today and when I was taking off 1 of the lug nuts, the bolt snapped in half. The lug bolts appear to be pounded through the back of the hub assm., and I loosened the bad 1 enough to realize there is a metal collar for lack of a better term in the way of it sliding out. I am wondering if anyone knows if I remove the center nut, the one Im assuming holds the wheel bearing, if the piece that holds the 4 lug bolts will come off. Any help with this, even if you only happen to know what Im likely to pay at a shop, is all very appreciated.
