sticky brakes

i was on my way to meeting a few friends lastnight and was going throw country roads and got stuck in abit of traffic and as i pulled away from stopping it felt like i was driving with the handbrake (e brake) on , but the handbrake ( e brake) wasnt on , and i as was driving along the road there a grinding sound and a weird smell so i pull over to check it and my drives side brake pads where smoking , and i had no idea what could of caused it can any1 help me ?

did you found some answer to this problem??? i got the same to tonight, the car dont move like it has the brake pedal to the end!!!!

if your pads were smoking and didnt want to move, your caliper siezed up or a rock or something got kicked up and is wedged between the pad and rotor

it waesnt smoking, but the pedal was really high and hard , and the car doesnt move

but after 30 minutes, i try again and it was ok, but i was felling the pedal getting hard again
