Got offered a mega deal on some coilovers but they're on an EK9 at present. I know the fronts will definetaly fit but not 100% about the backs.
If i use fork fitment LCAs they will fit, wont they?

As far as I'm aware no, but don't take my word for it lol
I'm sure I read on honda swap or similar that EK fronts fit but backs are a no-no I'd wait for a second opinion though...

Think ill just get them anyway, can always use the fronts and keep the topmounts if they dont fit...

I believe the EK forks a narrower, but you can just cut down the bushings and they will fit, probably not recommended though.

The rears will not fit over a EG LCA. The fork for the rear on the EK is to thin. If you can, you can swap out the lower fork part for a EG piece and make it work. If you do that, let me know, Ill want your old EYE style LCAs.

This topic has come up before. I can say this much about it. I personally took the coilover set up off my 2000 Civic Si, and put it onto my 92 hatch without modifying anything. No bending, grinding, popping, ookin, jookin, nothing, lol.

I had a search but never noticed a topic, oops!

thanks for confirming what i thought though Mike
Yeah Derek, id prefer to keep my ITR arms but cant really turn this deal down!!! I dont think the bottom collar separates on these coilovers as i asked the guy who has them if i could do it that way

ill wait and get them first then if i can swap the bottom part ill do that, if not ill just use my old fork style arms

Yeh I would definitely go for changing them to the ITR fittings if you can, I'm running after market LCA's so were thinner so I was able to but also had to modify the bushings to make them fit.
So guess there is only one way to find out
