i was wondering if n e one here could give me a ballpark price range, or atleast at what point i would be getting robbed for installing a KYB AGX system. the only place i've looked at said it could be up to $750. thats labor only. that included installing adjustable front and rear camber kits, which thanks to teal dx, i now know i can do. i was wondering if there was n e more than the camber kits i could do myself with basic tools. i assume i would need a spring compressor and probly more to do it all, but could some one shed some light on my situation? thanks everyone.

Well for $750 you can go and get a complete full bodied Coil over kit. Something like Ksport, Tien, Form and Function and PIC Performance Apex. All of those would be a straigh bolt on affair. No need for a spring compressor or anything. Just your basic wrachet and 14, 12 and 17mm sockets.

I think for that $750 labor you are getting ripped off.. As Greasedmonkey said, there are full bodied coilovers set-ups out there now that makes it super easy to add it to your ride. Even a newb like me learned to install it with very little supervision from my mentor.

For $750 you can buy some of these coilovers that I can think about because they were on my list before: Tein basics, Ksports, Skunk2 Pro-S, Function & Form, and Blox racing. Those guys are around that $500-800 range, and you won't need any spring compressor for these guys. :thumb:

And as for the camber kits, they are installed during your coilover installation. I'm not pretty sure about camber kits tho, just ask the more knowledgeable people here. I only have a kit on my front and not on my rear. :D

Goodluck! :thumb:

I have never known a strut to make a knocking noise. Check all your bushings and bolts before buying anything.

yea, i was thinkin that it was like a trailing arm bushing or somethin, but idk, then a friend told me that his ef was makin a similar noise and was gon after doin a coilover kit. should i just look for a cracked or missing bush??? + a few threads down they talk about bushings failing due to lowering, is this something im going to have to deal with? if so, why/how? thanks guys
