Ok so my shocks on my coupe are basically blown and I'm still driving around on them and it sucks cause every big bump I hit it sounds like my car is going to break apart lol. Anyway, I have been having trouble trying to figure out what shocks I can get with my omni coils. I just have the coils and I heard somewhere that you can't use Koni Yellows with them. Right now I'm tight on money so I'm trying to get some somewhat cheap shocks but ones that will ride good and I can adjust. One friend told me to get kyb agx's but around how much do they cost for a set? I have a month before the big show to get my car ready and I plan on slamming it for the show so that means I DEFINITELY need to get new shocks or I'm going to break everything off my car on the 6 hour drive. So can everyone help me out and recommend the best shock for my coils. Thanks!!

The Illumina's (whites)

I've got the blue ones, had them for almost 7 years now, none are blown yet, and the car still rides good. :thumb:

Koni Yellows, you won't find a better shock. A little expensive but as far as i know all Koni's have lifetime warranties. The yellows are adjustable, stiffness and they have multiple height levels.

I haven't seen any reviews on the STR.T's yet, but they're Koni products so I would say they are top notch, and those are relatively inexpensive however are not adjustable; however if you have lowering springs you should be fine.

The only shocks I can think about are those ones mentioned up there. Koni Yellows, Tokico Illuminas, and KYB AGX's. Any of those will give you something that you are looking for but of course for a price. The Yellows are the pretty expensive ones but if you really are on a budget, the Illuminas or the AGX's have fairly decent prices. :thumb:

I was gonna go for those Illuminas/AGX's, but decide to go non-adjustable damper. I like the stiff ride anyway. :hehe:

Iver personally had the Koni Yellows and the AGX's I Had the Yellows on lowering springs and the AGX's on my Ground Controls. Both shocks are great, but I would prefer the Koni Yellows over the AGX's if I was to get a set up like that again. They cost more, but that is for a reason. They are a better shock/strut. Lifetime warrantee to the original owners.
