how do you swap the trailing arms with out the nut falling into the sub frame ?

The bolts that go into the chassis should have no issues with the nut popping off in the body. Never seen it happen.

It's on a slider inside the frame. Unless you break that nut free from that adjuster, it won't fall out.

The bolt gets so rusted that it will turn the welded nut and crack the welds off. Had this happen. Take a hole saw and drill an opening up from the bottom.

so i figured out the answer and you have 2 choices

A. reuse the old rr comp arm i.e., don't unbolt it

B. stick a screw driver in the hole to make sure the nut stays in place when you unbolt the old rr comp arm


going to pick up si trailing arms this weekend and am probably going to go with option A
