im looking to to put a real manual steering rack in my car instead of my converted one i have now..and i did some research and some people are saying i can just buy the manual rack for my car and other people are saying i have to get a new subframe in the front for the rack to bolt up to properly..is there anyone who can confirm any of this information?? :? :? :?

i did it in my integra, and in my old e.g. si. i did it without swapping subframes. i just cut off the power steering hard lines that are kind of hard sautéred to the subframe. then its basically a straight swap.

You'll need a manual subframe d bracket (passenger side bracket) and modify it like I did. The power subframe has a indent for the larger steering rack I recomend welding that flat.
I didn't weld mine just used part of the power racks bushing and stuck that in the indent I didn't have any problems.
