#316590 I wanted to get ground controls on tokico hps but found someone offering skunk2 sleeves for cheap, anyone have them on their car?

#316611 As long as you pair them up with so good struts and don't max them out (as low as they go) then your good. Get some koni's or tokico whites, blues aren't to great if you want to be tucking the tires. :thumb:

#316613 i had them before actually were the first thing i used to drop the civic... did i learn. ride wasn't good height was were i wanted but like i said felt like crap though, i had them paired with tokico blues was ok but as my preference or need for my ride has changed since then. hope that helps

#316621 Tokico blues are OE replacement shocks. They are not performance shocks and should not be used with any coilover setup. They can do well with a VERY mild lowering spring with soft spring rates. Not good for a big drop and/or stiff springs.

#316676 i have had the skunk2 sleeves on my ej1 and ej6.
if you get them cheap, they're ok.
if you want to go low, get some good shocks, not oem replacements.
but any sleeves will blow oem replacement shocks if you are dumped.
