- Fri Jun 01, 2012 10:07 pm #306974 I EED help, 95 hatchback cx, i know i need ball joints, and upper control arms, geeting it all done next week when i have time, but when i turn my wheel theres is a LOUD squeaking noise, really loud, i know its my upper control arms i think? but what can i do to stop the squeaking noise for now, because its really loud and dont even want to drive with it

- Sat Jun 02, 2012 6:50 pm #307091 Turning the wheel shouldn't cause any sound in the upper control arms. They don't pivot with steering. Is it a squeal noise as in the PS belt? Tighten it down and check the condition of the belt and the pulley.
