Am gonna buy this. Is this fake or real? Maybe some 1st gen braces were made like this, what do you guys think??

yaaa i saw that article, that's why was wondering. But also heard 1st gen braces looked like those. Anyway any idea how good/bad these would be?

The one you posted looks just like mine does. I bought mine in '07 before there were fakes http://www.civic-eg.com/viewtopic.php?t=956

(I painted mine darker, it did look just like the one you pictured.)

Yup, 1st gen ones looked like that, fakes look the same, that's why am a bit confused. But anyway I might end up buying this coz my original plan was to make a brace, which would end up worse than a fake so.. lol

I've seen a fake one before where the entire middle of the "ASR" letters were CNC'd instead of just the outline of the letters.

I still have mine on the car, holding up great. :thumb:

haha yeah, i have seen such ones on ebay, now they label them JDM instead of ASR lol

I got my ITR bar today, that thing is sexyy :thumb:
