#271080 I'm purchasing Ground Control Coilovers with custom spring rates and Tokico Illuminas to complement it. I also have all the other suspension goodies to match this setup. What custom spring rate would I need to use on my car for occasional road racing on open track days? This is strickly my second car and I do not care about bumpiness or stiffness of the springs. I need a springrate that will not overpower my Illuminas or make the car too "bouncy" yet stiff enough for racing. I will not aggressively lower my car as well, if that matters. Or, does anyone have suggestions for another suspension setup from $700-$1000?

#271107 If you have $1000 to spend, then buy a shock that will work well with the GC's (if youre set on using GC's).

Otherwise, I'd suggest looking into a set of Progress CSII coilovers.

Never used em personally but have read a lot of good reviews.

Also, if you buy GC's email the vendor before buying and see what rate they recommend. I'd say nothing higher than 350K on the front and 300K on the rear.

I really think even those rates would over power the Illuminas.
