#260831 im seriously contemplating on makig a custom lower tie bar for my coupe since ihave a bnch of black iron piping. i knowit would be heavy butit i got the right threads and stuff would it help stiffen my rear suspension up? or should i get a brace first?

#261345 if you have a subframe brace then dont bother with the tie bar at all... the brace would also act as a tie bar and stifen up the rear

as for a DIY tie bar...yes its possible

some dood even managed to make his own Beaks lower tie bar HERE :thumb:

#262895 I think by the time you would get it fabricated and on there you would have spent about the same amount of money buy a knock off or a name brand one.


And agreed with the sub frame brace you really won't need one.
