Civic EG

i recently took my car (that had a small amount of tread on front tires) on a nice mountain cruise in PA. I went down hills pretty fast and flew on right turns. My last turn down the hill ate up the rest of my tread but now when i slow down into 2nd or 1st whenever i press the brake hard i hear a cracking er er er er er er er er errrrrr sound when i jerk the car around and when i slow down in the first 2 gears. i think its the brakes but my buddy says suspension

sounds like u may need a alignment there bud but then it could be u need new tires n alignment that sorta happened to my eg coupe
