What is a better choice? What gives you a better ride? Adjustable coil overs or drop springs?

It all depends on personal preference really. I will never own springs but my bf says they ride better..However, they don't go as low as you can on coilovers. I like coilovers because you can slam the car one day and raise it up the next. Springs you are stuck with whatever size you get.

But if you are going to drive around, you will want to get it aligned after changing the ride height or say goodbye to your tires.
I prefer coilovers because if your car is lightened a lot, then you can go a little lower to compensate. With springs, you're stuck at a higher ride height.

Any brand preference? I have coils on now but they are shot. They are the screw tension collars and are coming apart. Time for new ones.

there is skunk2, tein, eibach, megan racing, or the knock off brand

Not as much as you might think. Lowering and raising the car will change the camber angle but that doesn't kill tires as fast as the toe angle being out ... that's what will chew the shit out of your tires.
Camber will cause slightly uneven wear, toe will cause you to have 2" or so of your tire bald and the rest looking just fine.

From what I've heard, if you want drop springs get the Eibach sportlines, they have a nice ride and will work fine with stock dampers. Or you can mate them with a midgrade damper of some sort. The ride is supposed to be really nice.

Ya I have tokico struts now its just the collars are shot and i dont want to mess with raising or lowering it. I just wanted to make sure that lowering springs give me a nice look not to low not to high

Lowering spring will not give you that "slammed" look. To get that you need to get adjustable coils, come to think of it I don't think I've ever seen pics of drop springs even tucking the wheels.

with lowering springs you can go 1-1,5" max with stock dampers...i think that better choice is adjustable coilovers, specialy in summer/winter areas
