I thought FF where similar to KSports. I guess i was wrong.

After some image searching, the newer FF seems to be cheaper looking. The tube is steel looking vs aluminum when it first came out? correct me if i am wrong, but isn't steel more heavy than aluminum? Just trying to get more info as I need to get some suspension soon.
