I've got (185/55/R14) on my Honda Civic EG rims. Wondering what would be a decent drop that wouldn't scrub when going over driveways and humps?


I'm looking at Kingsprings Superlows but I dunno how much inch to drop it decent for (185/55/R14) profile.

I got kyb and no name springs no rub but dam speed bumps are not happenin lol.

your tire profile is a little less than OEM, 55 vs 60 series tires, so your car will be a tiny bit lower with the same springs as someone else with the same setup. 1.5" is not too extreme. 2" is starting to get pretty low, but it really depends what the roads are like in your area.

What I would do is park over a bump/drive way hump and look under the car. Then look at how much clearance you have and how much you can afford to lose

Well I live in Australia some humps are really big, say around 5cm from ground or so I dunno. So you rekon 2'' will be good? And 2.5'' drop will be bad choice?


I currently can't measure because my car is already lowered, but it's on chopped springs. and is like 4cm off the ground
