What do you guys think of this? I bought my EG hatch without an alarm fob and with the amount of civics getting stolen lately I thought I'd equip myself, but after forking out on a load of other parts I'm on a tight budget. Would something like this be a nightmare to fit? To be honest I know little about alarms but I'm good with electricals and picking things up quickly in general. Yes or no?

#86682 I can tell you from experience, you get what you pay for. For something like the security of your car, I wouldn't go cheap on the alarm if that is your only source of protecting your car.

Also, how user friendly are the installation instructions? I've had kits that were a breeze, and others that were a pain because of universal vague instructions.

#86742 Hey get the alarm below, 3 times as much, but 10x more reliable, safe and better features such as a bonnet/hood sensor, anti-hijack, i highly recommend it I have one, and it's a bargain at the moment, I paid about 200 to have an authorized dealer install mine, have the insurance certificate to certify its a CAT1 too.

With the above alarm, it would be quite easy to steal your car, cut all the wires and drive it away. I know I could do it if I were the type of person, but fortunately I'm not :D but definitely dont spare money on a security system, you wouldn't on your house?

#87039 I wouldn't touch either of those with a ten foot pole.

You have a Honda. It's a big theft target. Honda thieves KNOW Hondas inside and out, backwards and forwards.
