Unlocking Stereo

So I bought my 95 Hatch from a guy in Oregon. He had installed a 99-00 Odyssey stereo. It is now locked and I do not have the code. I have the serial number but wasn't sure what the best way to get it unlocked was? Being that the stereo did not come with my car originally.

call honda talk to parts department and then they will ask for the serial number and they will give you the code.

Tried it, serial number won't pull up any codes...
