hey guys what brand of component speakers would be good to buy i have a pioneer 7900ub i have 150 to spend

boston acoustics makes good components they are a lil more pricey though

does it matter how many watts it is if i dont plan on using an amplifier i was thinking about these Alpine Type-R SPR-17S or the pioneer TS-D1720C
which one you think is better

Pioneer makes crappy speakers. Alpine is one of the best brands you can buy at a retail chain store.

for the price you cant beat pioneer speakers mine are cheapo 3 ways and they are so loud and have no distortion at high volume, but i cant argue alpine does make very good components.
