I just bought 2 c12 kickers for 70 with a box brand new!! :woot: They are rated at watts RMS(150) and watts peak(300) also they are 8ohm..i bought an amp install kit and its says for up to 500 watts. What amp would be good with these subs? i wanna get as much possible without pushing the max

did you buy the subs localy or from a shop. becuase subs usualy are 4 ohm. then can have there ohms changed by wiring them in seriers or parrelal. bascily lower ohms means more power. 4 ohms should be stock. some subs wont be able to run 2 ohms, but why would it be wired for 8 ohms. please post all the info about these subs, is it 150 rms each or are they combined. (should be each so about 300rms total).

also do the subs have 4 termanls or 2 for the poisitve , and negative wire.

hook me up with all this info and il help you get the most out of your sub without blowing it up

look for a mono or 2 channel amp. I would find any cheap one about 300 RMS. mabey a lil more because you can adjust the gain lower on the amp. ( better to have a good amp you can turn down , then a bad amp you cant turn up)

here are 2 diff ways of wiring it
