jdmlighting or HIDextra?

Alright so i found Xenon HID Hi/lo beam at both jdmlighting and HIDextra. Jdm is 165$ and HID is 75$. now it says the lo beam is HID and the high is Halogen, is that typical? (these are going into OEM lights not projectors or anything) And question two, do you guys see a difference? cause id love to save 90$ if at all possible. But if you guys think jdmlighting is a better choice even though they cost more than im totally game. :?

I have the High/Low HID's and its exactly what I wanted. You will not be dissappointed with them at all. Heres a link to the ones that I got and they are plug and play. I got mine for $112 to my door.

you get what you pay for. After a lot of research on faulty ballasts & warranties, I went with mobilehid.com
direct plug & play as well.

There's so many companies out there it was overwhelming, especially just on ebay alone.

If you get a single kit, then you will lose high beams (depending on application) Dual kits have 2 ballasts/nulbs or actually move the angle of the single bulb to make high beams.
I have not seen any that use a halogen for a high beam, but to me that sounds like you're getting a single HID kit for lows and your high beams will be like your current light.

edit, just looked at the ebay link and that kit looks a lot like mine. ballasts are shaped the same and have the same thin brackets but the only difference is mine had a label stuck on them.
Wondering if I overpaid at hidmobile.com
I guess the only way to tell is putting the ebay ballasts in a bucket of water & hit them w/ a hammer

Bi-Xenon kit would be a reflector, Bi-xenon in a projector is not the bulb but the projector that makes it bixenon

yes... but truthfully you'll be blinding everyone more then likely, i'll never use a HID kit again ina a reflector, even a halogen projector i'd be hesitant, retrofit FTMFW!!!

I threw in my HIDs in my EDM EK4 housings. They are the same as the OEM housings but they dont have the orange reflectors in them.

All else aside ... you wont be dissapointed in the lights. You might be blinding others but atleast you can see really really well where you are going. Its like daylight in the night time.
