ok im not saying this is the best way to install a tach, but it is how i do all of mine. i have never had a problem. first of all every tach ive installed has red, green, white, black wires and all i do is hook the red wire to the "c" option connector in the under dash fuse box with normal speaker connecter, then hook up the white wire to the "d"option connector in fuse box , this is the hardest part you run the green wire thru the small access hole to the engine bay there is a single blue wire hooked up to nothing its next to clutch slave connect the the green wire to it then last all you have to do is ground the black wire and your done. like i said before i dont know if theres a easier way but this way is very easy and fast
