I think i have it figured out. but when i have the lights on the guage cluster lights will go out and most of the time if i play with the adjusment wheel they will come back on so i think i need a new switch? any one know how hard it would be

easy. pop it out and put a new one in. and my adjustment wheel you mean dimmer switch right?

yep, no need to remove the dash. Just pry it out from the front. if it's stubborn, bou can take the lower panel off (under dash) and push it out from behind so you don't scratch up your dash or break the button

I got my Civic $300 cheaper cuz the dimmer switch was out causing the parking lights not to work. I popped the switch out and put a jumper in the harness so I could make the 700 mile trip home. The lady was surprised but she wasn't even mad. She said I deserved it.

After your third or fourth Civic you already have this crap in your garage. Dimmer switches, main relays, combination switches, 7.5A fuses, etc etc etc.

no id never pay for something like that lol. just trying to give a rough estimate if he were to pay for it.
