honda code 10 IAT sensor
Posted: Sun Mar 08, 2009 6:48 pmI am getting a code 10 on my JDM Integra SiR. Code 10 relates to the IAT sensor.
I have changed the sensor for new genuine honda part. Reset the ECU (disconnected the battery for 3-4hours) then started it let let it idle for 10-15mins. Switched it off then went out for a drive and all semed fine until 10 mins later the ECL came on again. I checked the code and code 10 again!!
I have also checked the voltage on the wire and it reads 4.7v when ignition is on. Checked it at the ECU end too and same reading.
Any help would be appreciated.
i also rewired the IAT sensor. power wire to ecu and earth wire to battery earth and i got the following readings
ignition on 4.97 volt and with
car started 1.87 volts engine on
are these the right readings. it is still throwing the code 10 fault also tried another IAT sensor still same problem.
