not sure if this would go here or somewhere else. i figured its inside your car so interior? but anyways, what kind of radar detectors does everyone use. i have the cobra xrs. i am thinking of getting a new one though maybe the passport 8500 x50? but i jsut found a new one by cobra that actually uses gps to locate speed traps and red light cameras. it sounds awesome. but the price is high. so what you guys think? what radar detectors good, bad or worth the money.

fuck a valentine 1 that thing is old tech. If you want the best go for the Escort passport 9500i or the beltronics I forget the model but their highest one.

I had an Escort 8500i. I loved it, only complaint was I had false Readings from Self Opening Doors. I was stolen not to long ago from my Car. I will be getting an Escort 9500i to Replace it. I loved the performance of my 8500. I have read nothing but awesome things of the 9500.

Trust me, Its worth the money. Any of the Cheap Radar dectors are junk. Save your money and get a Escort 8500 or a Escort 9500.
