This question is for all my electrical guru' and I have done so much research its ridiculous but I cant find the answer anywhere...



So I'm in the process of swapping a 99' Integra dash into my 92' Civic that I got for free at my job BUT my only concern is that the Integra dash harness that it comes with is OBD-2 whereas my car is OBD-1.

I know that I could use the existing harness and just swap over 2 of the cluster plugs but I want to swap harnesses because mine has many shorts in the wiring plus its easier...


Will this interfere with anything?

What about picking up a 94-95 OBD1 integra harness? I'm just throwing out an idea, not sure if that would even work well - never swapped a dash before.

That is possible for sure I'm just trying to use the 99' dash harness that came with the dash that I got for free.... Trying to save myself $100-$150 lol.

That's what I will more than liketly need to do.
