I was talking to my mechanic friend, that isnt the best at electrical work, and he said that if he was going to buy one, it would be a Bluepoint from a Snap-On truck.
Anyone have any other opinions?
Thanks,
Jon

x2 if you're going to be using it a lot, Fluke is where you wanna go, but they are expensive.

I use a Fluke 233 remote display. I do a lot of alarms, remote starts and car audio. It's expensive as hell around 350-400. But its worth it

Don't waste your money unless you're doing some serious Oscope shit, troubleshooting/calibrating sensors when it's easier to just pull one from the junkyard.
For a car, all you need is a cheap Harbor Freight or Sears $15 multimeter. Look for one that beeps when you have continuity.
Been doing custom wiring in cars since the turn of the millenium and never needed anything more than that.
