#291539 To check the check engine light code, just use a paper clip :thumb:

Without checking the code, it's a shot in the dark and you're throwing $$$ at the car replacing parts until you guess the right sensor :thumb:

#291617 Sounds like the same symptoms I had when my distributor coil went out. Of course you need to check your codes with the paper clip. Diagnostic harness is under passenger kick panel carpet, do a search for the shorting sequence.

#291756 Its not the wires in the ECU, You are looking for the wires right above it, kinda on the right side of the glovebox. there are 2 plugs plugged into a green holder thing.
unplug the one that has 2 wires in it, one will be brown the other not sure on color, i forgot at the moment.

then jump it with a paper clip/ or what ever your using. I used a cotterpin cuz thats all I had.

then your check engine light and SRS light will blink, One long blink is 10, one short blink is 1.

more then one code will be displayed by a longer blink between then, count the flashes and then tell us what you get.

#291877 okay, its the blue plug with one tan one green wire if I am correct... connect these to things via the paper clip. open paper clip up, and insert into plug as use as a jumper. and then it should start flashing, but you have to make sure its in there or it wont do absolutly anything...

thats one I used.

This is pretty much what you are doing right there, dont pay attention to the color wires he is useing, but its pretty much same exact thing but different wires.

#292036 you can reset it by either pulling the "back up" fuse under the hood, or disconecting the battery.
