OBD2 Ecu and B18C5 1998 Integra

So I need clarification about this. So since I'm using a OBD2 ECU and the engine will it simply plug into the vehicle?

Yes. 98 Integra is obd2a, FYI.

How important is it that I'm putting it in a car that was obd1?

so your putting a obd2 engine and ecu in a obd1 car? if thats the case you probably would need a obd2 harness i would imagine to make it work properly. I know the 02 wiring is different. not sure what else.

Ok so yea, I will have the engine harness front the obd2 engine. So.should be pretty clean and straight forward.

well i've never done the conversion personally but i would imagine if the harnesses you have are obd2 as well then things should go smoothly.

The only other thing is the underdash harness. I think that's why they say its best no to use the donor engines engine harness. Because at some point the engine harness is going to have to connect to the underdash.
