Hi all I have a question about my alternator, my power started going out and I did the test of checking my battery and alternator. Come to find out my alternator is busted.

Question is can I use a D-series alternator on my b20 VTEC or any other b-series alternator.

specs: b20b block, b16 head, p30 ECU. ej1 coupe

d series definately wont work different way of installment etc but any b series should work minus the bastard b in preludes other then that if you find a b18 b20 etc that should work for you

you can use OBD0 and OBD1 for our OBD1 cars i believe , OBD2 has a different plug
