I have a 92 4dr and I'm having problems with the dash lights not working. If I jump a hot wire the lights turn on but if I turn the ligjt switch the lghts turn off... now another problem. the radio. has a aftermatket harness but the radio won't turn on ..
. all fuese are not blown ... what is the back up fuse for

91-95 Honda Civic isn't known for shorts in their factory wiring... I'd pull your radio out and check all your connections. Pay close attention to the orange dash illumination wire. It's hot and a lot of radios don't use this so it can be left over on the conversion harness to ground out on something metal.

gonna get a dimmer switch and a turn signal switch

put the new / used dimmer switch and headlight switch and stull no dash lights
