Ef not starting after Y8 swap and ODB1| solved!

SO I swaped a Y8 into a 91 Wagon 0bd0 dpfi to Obd1 mpfi. running the p28. the car will spin over but its flooding out #4. I've swapped the injectors for others that I had as well. running obd2 dizzy and injectors. Using a Boomslang obd0 dpfi to 0bd1 conversion harness. Any ideas as to what the problem could be?

don't you need an OBD1 dizzy?

I wired the obd2 dizzy into the obd0 harness according to boomslang's diagrams

it says you can use a OBD2 dizzy?

it gives the wire colors for the 0bd0, obd1 and obd2 dizzy's. It is sparking

checked all the wiring to the dizzy and it is correct at the ecu. all injectors seem to be working and the main relay is good

tried to see if it had a CEL code but the light just stays on when I jump it :eh:

try a different ECU

I have a p06 laying around. and have tried that one too. Same result though the CEL is gone all together with both ecu's now

test my ecu today on a known running car....and it works. I have narrowed it down to the injectors. I pulled the rail with the injectors still attached and they are not pulsing. Any idea.

now am i reading this right? you mentioned obd2-dizzy and injectors am i to assume you used obd2 injectors with a obd1 ecu that definately wont work you will want obd1 injectors with the obd1 ecu dizzy really dosent matter but injectors are a bit different i beleive....

yes they are obd2 injectors and Boomslang tells me that they should be fine. I'm thinking it may be the main relay.

so the boomslang wiring diagram reversed the crank and cam sensors in the dizzy thus causing the injectors not to pulse. After pulling diagrams on obd1 and obd0 I was able to trace the wires. She runs like a top now!!!!!! btw I felt so silly driving a ef wagon. Feels kinda like a mini van
