i kmow what it came from but i now have a 89 b16a so my question is could i use that ecu and do so safely? thanks

use the ECU that goes with the Chassis you have. 88-91 RR3 would be fine
92-95 i recommend a P30 over the OBD1 PR3 because its easier to get IMO.

ok well i just looked at my ecu im running now and its a chipped p72. the oem tag were removed and in red marker is p72 JUN. thanks for the input.

and i already own a pr3-j01 thats y i was asking i need to find out what all was tuned cuz im lost as to what any of the base maps or any thing else thats been messed with

its all good. is the PR3 OBDO or OBD1? if its obd1 you can run that and see how it runs.

i cant tell. take it to your local tuner see if they can tell. is there any kind of VOID tape on there?
