- Fri Feb 25, 2011 6:53 pm #240932 the steering column mount for my ignition is broke and it just hangs there... i want to buy a replacement, but my question is...........does it matter if it's out of a manual or auto car? i can't find them new anywhere...OEM new anyway... i dont want to buy a used one that's out of an auto and find out it doesn't work right...

any help would be great. thanks.

- Fri Feb 25, 2011 9:14 pm #240952 I actually do think it matters -- this is just from memory but I will have a look. Are you referring to the whole ignition assembly or just the key tumbler part? If it's just the tumbler then I don't think this matters, but if it's the entire assembly then yes.
