I'm putting in a B16A2 from a 99 Civic into my 93 EG Lsi.

Is the P30 as programmable as the P28 ?
I read on another forum that the P30 can't be chipped and
then on another forum that it can be chipped hehe.

The p30 has knock and p28 doesn't and I would like to have it
so since the engine was running on P30 and I want the knock sensor it probably makes more sense :)

@ Armann: yes youd need that ESI harness or if you can get the Sir/ Vti harness and ECU (P30) for the B16 and then convert it to OBD1. i think that would be the easiest route but you can use your exsisting harness or the ESI harness and just wire up the things you dont have.

So I could get the harness from a VTI 96-00, the p30 ecu then it's plug and play ? If that works then why do people tell me to get a harness from a old ESI/VTi 92-95 and the P28...

Sorry noob questions.

The JDM car is RHD and your car is LHD. The harness would be "shaped" backwards.
