So can anyone explain this in simplest terms for me please!I want to use my dimmer on my eg6 cluster,but its kinda hard for me to understand.

That link is purely speculation, so don't bother with it.

If the EG6 cluster uses LEDs instead of bulbs, then that explains why there is no dimmer.
