Civic EG

Look guys i need some help, I accidentally left my lights on and obviously the battery was drained. So i call a buddy over to jump start my car, the guy has no signs on his battery so he took a guess without letting me know and hooked up the wrong terminals. A minute later POOF, I turn the key and nothing lights up's and not even a crank (prior to this the lights did turn on and it did crank). So now im asking you guys for help to see if you guys can guide me into repairing my car. If all else fails then this friday I will take it to the electrical specialist shop. Please help me so I don't spend too much and yes I do know that something is most likely fried (I did purchase a new battery btw)

Check the main fuse beside the battery

Im guessing you probably blew every fuse on your car. lol
Have you checked that?

x2 check the battery fuse in the fuse box next to the battery, its a black 80amp u cant miss it

Well the fuse is busted, hopefully it's the source of the problem

it should be, replace it wit another 80amp, nothing less or more and go from there, thats like the main fuse, if that wasnt there u would have prob fried all wiring and the ecu nd messed up the alt, if u got a junk yard that u pull the parts off ur self, go and jack a few of the big screw on fuese and reg fues and relays

i have like 10 of each big fues and 6 or 7 of each relay and shit of fuese all size, i junk yards
