HIDS with or without glare shields??
Posted: Tue Jul 27, 2010 5:45 pmI have a set of HIDS with glare shields on my eg8. I hate the low output and am considering removing the glare shields. Does anyone have any feedback?

Well you are probably going to get pulled over, when you aren't being flipped off/honked at/high beamed back.
bad idea, never done it. like Method said, there is a reason they are there.

I have a JD lighting kit and the bulbs have no shield. I have great output but I never get flashed or anything.

Posted: Thu Jul 29, 2010 2:58 pmThe glare shields came with the HID kit i have installed. I left them on and removed the diffuser in the headlight housing. I still have a glare but not as bad. I think I'm going to do a TSX retrofit.
